Well, we need to support what is from (South) Africa and stop spending local cash on shit from the states and europe, making “Musica” and record labels rich and keeping our people from being able to make a living from what they love, HIP HOP. Thats how the industry makes themselves fat, off musicians … they give artists 7-10% and they make the rest… thats the real deal. I keep hearing lines like we gonna blow up and then you ask these local mcs what local hip hop do they have in their collection and well … eeeeeerrr nothing cause its not of that USA quality, my bro, baie vannie kak van daarso issie eers kwaai nie, net baie oppie TV en nous it kwaai… BUT our people love whats not from AFRICA, they support Manchester United and Liverpool and their music collections include mostly USA and European music … maybe except for Kwaito and you know whose making most of the money their too … SUPPORT YOURSELF AFRICANS – BUY AFRICAN GOODS, if that African is putting back into the community. (Watch out for the coconuts – blackpeople with white souls, they think only of themselves(I) and not (US) AFRIKA and the diaspora … Capitalism is in direct contradiction with UBUNTU and poverty reduction. Capitalism is about a minority taking advantage of or exploiting the majority for individual / personal gain. HIP HOP is the REVOLUTIONARY gift from OUR ANCESTORS to counter these selfish, oppressive forces.

We need to use this gift to empower ourselves as a community and not fall into their trap of the promise of a life of luxury in some exclusive neighbourhood, hidden from the masses.
