15 yrs

What would best describe your style? 

Versatile: I love to battle, rock clubs & parties, radio mixshows & do weddings.

If people had to ask you what makes you different from the hundreds of other deejays what would you say? 

No idea is original so I just try to master all the elements of the artform (scratching, mixing, beat juggling etc.)

Is the cassette still in demand or are you moving over to CD now? 

Strictly cd’s & dvd’s

Who influenced you? What made you get up one morning and decide I’m gonna get me some decks? 

Grandmaster Flash, Jam Master Jay, Magic Mike.  I learned from a lot of cats.

Who (other than yourself) are the best deejays in your opinion? 

X-ecutioners, Allies, Beat Junkies, ISP.  I can go on & on.

Do you have a funny story you can share with the readers out there? Anything strange happen to you as a deejay? 

This cat was in a record store lying to this other dude about me.  He was saying how he was hanging with me in the studio and after the session we went to get drunk & meet these brawds.  So I walked over and asked him how I was on the turntables because I never saw myself live.  He said I was dope & he got 3 of my mix cd’s.  He went on to say what kind of drink I had but I don’t drink or smoke and never seen this cat in my life.  When I told him who I was he tried to give me a pound and started smiling then walked out the store.  Me and the store owner laugh about that all the time.

What DJ equipment will give you a hard on/nipple stand? 

Technics 1200, Ortofon needles, Technics Shdj1200 Mixer, Akia MPC 3000 drum machine.

What’s better, the smell of vinyl or the smell of a homemade meal? 

Home cooked meal by far, if I don’t eat well I can’t perform well.

If there was a fire and you only had the chance to save 3 records, what would it be? 

Run DMC – Peter Piper, Marly Marl – The Symphony,  LL Cool J – Jack The Ripper
