On the 22 February at Rivets – Hilton in Durban, South Africa’s Kwaito Star S’bu will launch his brilliant new album ‘Ibodlela’. This is a not to be missed event with a live performance by S’bu followed by DJ’s Siyanda and DJ Sox.

S’bu is certainly a voice in the world of Kwaito and many other genres.  Kwaito, having been born and created in the townships, has gone on to become one of South Africa’s most unique and popular form of music. Although S’bu is above all, a Kwaito star, he is definitely not confined to this style of music.  

If there is one thing you can be sure of when a new release is due from South Africa’s star Sb’u, it’s that you’ll be tapping your whole body along to his funky tunes. Produced by friend and co-musician Robbie, Ibodlela is a musical roller coaster ride.  Featuring the hit single “Ibodlela” and other tracks ‘Impempe’, ‘Tsala’ and ‘Sbali’ – ‘Ibodlela’ is definitely an album to be celebrated
