The foundation of the concept is based on inspiring people to believe in themselves and their ability to contribute to positive change. Hip Hop is an influential medium, art as a whole is an influential medium and my purpose with Re-sume is to make artists realize the importance and the value of their work as artists in society. Art dictates lifestyle to an extent, we as artists can contribute to yielding a positive or negative society. Re-sume is art in its purest form, from fine art to theatre to dance to film to spoken WORD to music, everything and anything in the arts, Re-sume represents that. I don’t want to restrict it to Hip Hop as just a music genre, but Hip Hop as a medium of expression, freedom to where we can push it, no restriction to the extent of your art. I feel there is so much out there, so much knowledge and freedom, we just need to take the initiative and grab it with both hands. This world belongs to us, let us take control of it and mould it into a fine work of art.

The shows will be up and running quite soon and I would apprecialte your guys support. These shows will encompass anything and everything you have ever imagined. As I mentioned earlier, Re-sume is a platform for artists to showcase their material, it is an artist’s playground to experiment with their freedom, that’s our Sesame street word for the day, FREEDOM.
