27 & 28 Sept: Albert Park. On the eve of the two-day Albert Park event, there will be a massive feast of international hip-hop at the BAT Centre from 9pm on Friday 26 September. The “Siphon 2003 Project” sees top acts from SA, France and Reunion share the stage – Constructus and Blakfist of Garvey (SA); Interlope (France) and Zong (Reunion).

The South African Hip Hop scene is blessed with many talented emcees and Selwyn is one of them. After people bombarded me with emails demanding that I interview this man I got on my mobile and started making some calls. He has performend on the Expressions compilation, The Abomrapper Compilation and will be on the H20 album. He is also working on his own album which we look forward to. Check this interview. Tight!

It’s Saturday afternoon and I’m nursing my headache from the previous nights drinking session. I was supposed to start the interview with Archetypes at 13H00 but they were running late. 14h00 comes and they are still waiting for one more member. I have another interview scheduled for 14h45. I figure let me cancel that one and start the Archetypes at 14h30. Here’s how it went.
