The Militia! Cats from Orange Farm (O.F).  It’s been a long time coming but heads don’t have to wait any longer. The Militia is releasing an album soon, as in March 2004. Initially planned to be released mid-2003, the timing wasn’t right. But 2004 is the year that’s gonna see the rise of the tide in the local hip hop industry. Rated highly by critics who heard it pre-release, calling it the loud voice of the street, a breath of fresh air in S.A hip hop…dealing with social issues especially from the street perspective we gonna see the other dimension of local hip hop. Building a name for themselves on the underground scene way back before (and in) the days of YFM’s Rap Activity Jam, Militia has always been dropping gems. We’re familiar with the phrase “keeping it real” now we gonna see and hear what it really means. That’s what hip hop needs right now no doubt!
