The First Case Alliance was established in 1998 with an astonishing membership of eight(8) soldiers. These youths have risen from the dusty and sandy streets of the infamous Khayelistha Township (Cape Town, South Africa). They have collaborated and engaged through Poetry and the Visual Arts to depict and tell stories of their immediate environments. These stories are told through rhymes and music which has inspired many. Gradually the members have drastically decreased to four(4) because most of the soldiers took different paths in life as they grew older but the legacy of the First Case Dynasty still remains. They have been blessing audiences with vibrant appearances in both the townships and the suburbs and still continue to do so with extreme consistency.

“I think that the one big problem with Perfect Times is that it sounds too similar to Error Era, which was a deliberate decision, but soon seemed like a bad decision to mirror my first album. Instead of it being a progressive move I found it a bit regressive. I felt there was something strange about the whole thing like trying to read writing being reflected off a mirror.”

ReaHop Music is a new introduction among the countless list of Hip Hop derived music across the Globe. From Ghana, West Africa and residing in the U.S. Kwasi Tay has decided to create his own style of Music. The result is ReaHop Music. Currently the first album can be heard on www.cdbaby.com/tay. Chucknosis is a Ghanian rapper living in Zimbabwe. He has dropped a wicked album featuring dope mc’s like P.O.Y, Nemo, Chichi and Kli. The album is called “Listen” and is produced by Chucknosis and Itai Majaji. The album was recorded in the city of Bulawayo and contains 10 tracks. The album contains all sorts of languages found in Zimbabwe and Zambia, Ndebele and Nyanja. It is available in the Movement Shop in Harare. Chucknosis says he is working on his second and last album and this one is going to be for the streets.
