Ipo Wax is set to release new solo EP with acclaimed LA / Orange County based hip-hop soldier Aloe Blacc of the group Emanon. Aloe Blacc MC / Producer signed a one off deal with Ipo Wax in 2003 and his debut solo EP “The Aloe Blacc EP” was released in 2003. His new EP for Ipo Wax and second EP is slated for release in September 2004.

In making the announcement, Ipo Wax Head Chief Rocker Ramon Powell commented: “Aloe Blacc is without any Questions one of the freshest and most creative in the land of the west on the underground hip-hop scene. The Get Blacc Movement has been in full effect over the last year now with the release of The Aloe Blacc Ep and with Aloe’s bands The Breakdown. Which is Aloe Blacc and The Breakdown Boys featuring DJ Exile, along with continued support of the Emanon movement Aloe Blacc and Exile. We are looking forward with the release of this record in pushing Aloe and ourselves to the next level in the indie hip-hop music movement.

The Aloe Blacc Ep2: Me And My Music CD will have 9 Built Hip Hop tough tracks on it and the twelve inch single will feature Trek Life, one of Los Angeles hardest working B-Boy’s on the track Get Down. The EP was written and produced exclusively by Aloe Blacc himself.
