Afrikaans Hip Hop group Kallitz have been booked for an unprecedented six gigs over only two days, playing in and around Cape Town on Friday, 24 September 2004 and Saturday, 25 September 2004. Kallitz manager Alexander Gregori comments: “This is really a first. I don’t know if it’s the summer season starting or Kallitz’ demand rising or both, but requests to book the band just kept pouring in. I had a chat with the band, and we decided that six gigs over just two days is about as much as the guys can take. So we even had to turn down some requests. It’s crazy.”. Read on…
