28 October 2004 No Comment

Tablist, the World’s first and only magazine dedicated to Hip Hop DJ culture, proudly announces the release of its fourth issue: The Collector’s Mixtape Edition. The full-color quarterly has stepped its game up to 84 pages examining every aspect of the backbone of Hip Hop.

Volume One; Issue Four delivers two different covers graced by the giants of the mixtape market: Shady Records’ DJ Green Lantern and G-Unit soldier DJ Whoo Kid. Tablist takes a trip out west to visit with Dilated Peoples’ DJ Babu and Wake-Up Show legend DJ Revolution, who debuts his 12 Degrees column in Tablist. The Lifestyle section focuses on individuals of various professional backgrounds, including an NFL defensive lineman and a marketing executive, that spin for the love of it. The popular Packin’ Heat residency returns with profiles on 2003 DMC World Champion DJ Dopey and the Skratch Makaniks, among others. Issue Four wraps up with comprehensive reviews of the latest equipment, albums, DVDs, and mixtapes in the Lock ‘N Load section.

Also featured in Tablist: DJ Develop (Allies/DarkStar Entertainment), Roli Rho (5th Platoon), Danger Mouse, 9th Wonder, DJ Krime (Poland), DJ ButchRock (Queens), DJ V-Nutz (Shanghai), Mr. Supreme & Sureshot (Seattle), DJ Cute aka Camella (555 Soul), Trevor Pryce (Defensive End for the Denver Broncos), Orlando “OJ” Lima a.k.a. Dale Turner, DJ John B (Roc-A-Fella Records) and DJ Will Spin (Nom de Guerre).

With Volume One; Issue Four, Tablist solidifies its reign as the only complete source for the Hip Hop DJ community and fans.
