4-IZE “Off The Radar” In The New Source Magazine

19 February 2005 No Comment

Hitting stands around the country in the next few weeks, the new SOURCE magazine (with Def Jam President Jay Z and Damon Dash on the cover) also includes 4-IZE in the “Off the Radar” section. Once known for being able to predict the next big thing in hip-hop, the Source magazine is a competitive spot for upcoming unsigned rappers and MCs. However, 4-IZE is anything but new to the game.

Rapping alongside Ludacris in the early 90s, the Chicago native decided to “bless the country with his marriage of crunk and conscience rhyme skills” (-The Source, March 2005) and is only now hitting the airwaves with his high-energized singles “Shlap You” and “Ron Artes…”, a cheeky twist on a recent high-profile basketball incident. The tracks are building a buzz for 4-IZE’s now highly anticipated debut ‘Fantastik IV’ (release date TBA).
