Millions Movie Review

21 July 2005 No Comment

The UK decides to convert to the Euro in seven days. It’s the biggest opportunity the criminal world has ever had. When a railway heist goes wrong and an enormous bag of money falls from the sky into the hands of Damian and Anthony, there’s only one thing to do spend it like there’s no tomorrow. Then one of the robbers comes looking for his money.

MILLIONS is Danny Boyle’s first family orientated movie though it still has that bite of suspense and tension in it. It’s a very emotive film with an excellent cast and there are doses of irony in it for the grown up and loads of humour for the kids.

MILLIONS is also not the normal meant for kids’ movie. It has moral lessons in it, it has flights of fancy however it’s also intelligent and doesn’t insult the viewers IQ be it a child or an adult.

If you like Danny Boyle’s movies or have kids and don’t want them do become brain dead from crappy movies meant for kids or in the mood to watch something good then MILLIONS is worth your time and money.
