Blacklisted Media proudly announces the promotional CD release of Tshwane-based Hip Hop quartet, Ba4za (pronounced “Bafoza”). Ba4za consists of rappers Maliq, A.Q., Hakeem and Killa M with beat-extraordinaire Nyambz on production. These four young, black, muslim rappers formed the group in early 2004 and have since crafted a sound that is a unique mixture of conversational rhymes and soulful compositions. The result is ground breaking, quality music bound for both critical and commercial success. Ba4za’s first order of business is the January release of the aptly titled debut, The E.P. It will also be available online through iTunes and all other major paid download services for other parts of the world. Look out for the launch of Ba4za’s new website, www.ba4za.com, early March 2006 for exclusive and unreleased tracks and remixes.

Furthermore, after months of enjoying considerable airplay without any major label backing, Ba4za is in the process of shooting their first video for their first single, “Terror Music”.

Later in 2006, Ba4za will release their debut full-length, The L.P. The album will be available on CD, double vinyl and digital formats. The group will embark on a Spring tour to promote The L.P.

Blacklisted Media is currently in talks with major and large independent labels about partnering on marketing and distribution for the forthcoming full-length album, The L.P. The label is also fielding licensing deals for the album in Japan, Australia, and Europe.
