From Rhythm & Blues to Rhythm & Ghetto the new generation of music! Darell Johnson and Danny Jones, these two cousins are R&G Productions. For ten years they have been representing the Midwest and their home town Columbus, Ohio with some of the hottest beats. Darell and Danny released their first CD “The Last Resort” in 1997 and was a part of the Midwest Funk compilation CD’s I & II. Recognized for their numerous talents; engineering, singing, rapping and music video production they have entered the music business on an all around basis. They started straight out of high school and have built a production company that has produced for artist not only in the Midwest but also from the dirty south…

Darell and Danny have worked with rap artist, Bizzy Bone (recording over 50 tracks with him). In 2003, they discovered female R&B Artist Na’sha and hooked her up with a record deal with Pure Records (Sony Red) out of Miami, Florida. They helped develop her into one of R&B’s next Diva’s and produced several tracks on her debut CD “My Story” (released September 2005).

In 2004 R&G produced a new “Buckeye Anthem” song for The Ohio State Football Team. The song was debut for the one hundred thousand plus fans packed in the horseshoe during the 2004 season. The “Buckeye Anthem” received heavy radio airplay and news coverage.

While in Florida R&G had the opportunity to work along side super celebrity producers Scott Storch and Terror Squad’s Cool & Dre (also producers on Na’sha CD). They are currently producing tracks for an online battle rap contest where rappers can download beats and win $100,000 dollars plus a record deal. Called Battlerap.com 

In 2006, R&G will be releasing their latest project for a very talented eight year old rapper, “The Youngzta!” They just completed The Youngzta’s ten track CD “Born Ready” and DVD which features eight videos.
