It is with great regret that Unlearn Agency has to inform you, that the scheduled Wu-Tang Clan 10 Year Anniversary S.A. Tour has been postponed till further notification. Both the Cape and Johannesburg shows booked respectively for the 14th and 15th April has been called off until confirmation of the tour-dates has been finalized. Discrepancies occurred in the manner bookings were conducted. Our Vienna-based partner, Hot Wheels Bookings and Promotions informed Unlearn Agency in the course of last week, that the booking agent of Wu-Tang already confirmed bookings for a show on the 15th April in Spain. As this date clashes with our scheduled events, it left Unlearn in an awkward position to reschedule the tour.

Long before Houston became a must-see destination for A&R executives and trend sniffing tastemakers eagerly scoping out the next big thing, the steamy southern fried city was HQ for a cadre of hungry, determined soldiers. Soldiers who were ready willing and damn sure more than able to hold H-town down and bring that city’s syrupy slow, crunk- rich vibe to whatever heads might be fiending for the new. Lil’ Flip ain’t new to this. The pride of Houston, Texas, aka “the Freestyle King,” has been bringing home-town, homegrown hip-hop style and sonics to appreciative audiences since the late 90’s: both as an underage protégé of the late legendary mix tape visionary, DJ Screw, and on his own hugely successful CDs. Fleming Rose is the cultural editor of the Jyllens Posten, and the man behind the publication of the Muhammad (S.A.W) cartoons. Fleming Rose, who has a surprisingly delicate name, is a very polite man. It was with the utmost politeness that I was refused an interview. It was so polite, that I wondered at the extreme…..impoliteness of the cartoons that he sanctioned for the Jyllens Posten. Put simply, Denmark funds Hamas-led towns. Norway wanted to phase out and ban Israeli goods. Condoleeza Rice became instantly anal and threatened to castrate Norway where it hurts the most. Fleming Rose and Daniel Pipes are poker buddies (lets not go into the finer details of this). Son Daniel makes his career from fighting the evil of Islam by way of the neo-con/Zionist light saber, which says that Muslims are crazy people who ware insanely jealous of the democratic American lifestyle. Sure. We all wanna chow down on DNA altered cows and GM food, while listening to Britney Spears – American’s biggest cultural export after Coca-Cola.

The road to rap stardom is paved with almosts, should haves and on second thoughts. Rapper/songwriter and J Records/Chameleon Entertainment signee Smitty (Varick D. He had the smarts to enroll at Florida A&M University in 1997. However, his aspiration to become a full-fledged artist led him to switch coasts after only two and half years of school.

For sublime vocalist Heather Headley, her second studio album, In My Mind, the torrid follow-up to her Grammy nominated debut, This Is Who I Am, is the kind of soulful, sonically charged diary where lessons- learned meet musical purpose accomplished, grabbing the listener at its mesmerizing center of gravity, which just happens to emanate from the one and only Heather herself. “What you hear on this album is not only me, but my willingness to take you places even I’ve never been before.”  Read on for more info and audio clips…
