Conjured Concepts is a series of events produced by one of Cape Town’s most prolific Hip Hop groups called the Writers Block. Here they aim to fuse their vibrant style of Hip Hop with other musicians with different, yet somewhat with a similar sound and message. Conjured Concepts is a platform for independent artists such like the Writers Block to come and showcase their skill alongside some of Cape Town’s best-kept secret within the Hip Hop movement…The event is of high quality performances and absolute entertainment. At the event audiences will be handed free C.C. vol.4 mixtapes (which is music produced the Writers Block). The music for the evening will be a fusion of jazz, poetry and hip hop bringing the audiences a special blend of Cape Town’s talent from the underground.
