Block Enterprises Russell “Block” Spencer has teamed up with The Aphilliates and DJ Drama for the Hottest Mixtape to come out of the South, American Gangsta: Gangsta Grillz Special Edition. American Gangsta is the first release from Atlanta-based Block Enterprises’ renewed joint venture with Diddy’s Bad Boy South Records and will introduce the newest Block Enterprises signing, Gorilla Zoe. Zoe, the newest member of the hip hop supergroup Boyz N Da Hood, makes his Block Enterprises debut on American Gangsta with a self-titled track featuring the man himself, Russell “Block” Spencer.

It comes as no surprise that the multi-cultural and musically rich setting of the Bassline in Newtown has been chosen to host the first Johannesburg performance of Hip Hop and R&B singing sensation Lungelo. On April 28th he’ll be giving a special acoustic performance with his eight piece band and DJ on the same stage where legends such as Vusi Mahlasela, Moses Molelewka, and Abdulluah Ibrahim have performed. Accompanying Lungelo on the evening will be heavyweight Metro FM radio personality, The Naked DJ.  Read on for more info…
