After taking a little over a year off from music, San Jose CA. native Playa Rae has returned with his latest album entitled "Dayz Like This". The album is noted as his most personal album to date. There are 19 tracks total, with the last four tracks being a Chopped & Screwed remix version from Dj Loon. Production from Remy Remaq, Mr. Sche, Equivalent Exchange & S.B. the Grindaholik & features include Smigg Dirtee, C.G., Fade Dogg and two very talented female vocalists in C-Rena & Angelyse.

If you recall Playa Rae's last release was the Paid in Full/Koch Records group album Gamebreakerz "Texikali" with him, Fade Dogg and Gemini. The album received great reviews after it's release in April of 2006, however Playa Rae has opted to go Independent again with his release of "Dayz Like This" which is said to be his "Best Work" to date. Tracks getting great reviews are "Through It All" where he talks about some the problems he has had dealing with the industry and his personal life at the same time. In addition, probably the most personal of all titled "Neva Again" which gives you a view of a man being burned by a woman. Most rap artists will not address that topic and this one has caught many ears…he also sings the hook on this one.
