Q-Bert will be playing in Joburg at the Lister Building in Bree Street on Saturday March 1. Tickets are R80 before 10, R100 after.
Anyone who has never been to the Lister Building should check it out, it's a great venue with a great view. Q-Bert will be supported by top local turtable titans Hamma and The Cutt. Party People is celebrating its 20th event with style this month. We team up with Unlearn to bring you Bahamadia straight out of Philadelphia (USA) with the hard working DJ Statik also from Philly. It’s for the first time the two hit our shores to perform two events, the Cape Town leg will take place at Mercury lounge on the 21st of Feb 2008 making the event Party People the 2nd in Cape Town with more to follow. On March 8th and 9th of 2008, hundreds of established and upcoming producers will descend upon Phoenix, Arizona, to attend the annual One Stop Shop producer's conference, masterminded by Sha Money XL's production and artist management company, Money Management Group. The conference will feature top industry professionals, platinum track making producers, and new technology trends from companies like Microsoft, M Audio, and Traxxpad. It will also include an itinerary filled, video game tournaments, after parties hosted by NYC's most noted DJs, and the infamous One Stop Shop Beat Battle. and most importantly the industry workshops/panels.

Not another one!! Yes that's right, what this world needs is yet another Jay-Z remix album. If it helps any, this version gives it more of a throw back vintage Jay-Z style of production. In other words for the folks who are up on Saint and Muneshine's style of music, yeah its like that, but Jay-Z is rhyming on it.
