Music Producer and Hip Hop recording artist Dokte has released his "Maak Mekaa Sterk EP" for free to the public on 30 September 2008.

Dokte, who produced hip hop group Kallitz's award winning debut album 'Die Ding Ruk Mal' in 2004, as well as the second album 'Dukgesuip' in 2006, which featured the Cape Town anthem 'Kaapse Paatie' featuring Carla Diamond and 'Wat Gaan Ons Maak' featuring Steve Hofmeyr, has been relatively quiet recently.

One of South Africa’s leading Afrikaans hip hop & rap projects, Kallitz, was conceptualized in 1998 by producer and record label owner Dokte, and signed to Mothermix Records in 2004. Dokte passed his Sound Engineering Diploma with 93% in 1998 after quitting his medical studies at the University of Stellenbosch, and has instead been ‘doctoring’ music ever since. Dokte is in the process of launching Xzekutiv Entertainment, a new company which will focus on media production such as music and video.

This is the first of two mixtapes that will be dropped before Jon Wayne's upcoming self-titled LP. Part 1 will focus on his transition from where he was to where he is, while Part 2 will be filled with tracks that he's done recently, but did not make the album for whatever reason. Pick this up and listen to one of the more creative emcees of the underground, right now.
