K. BAIN Hip Hop Artist and Social Entrepreneur, K’s lyrical flow and storytelling ability represent a combination of new school swagga’ mixed with old school skills. With a free flowing style at once brash, smooth and dangerous all at the same time, K refuses to be categorized. His stories tell of the struggle and triumphs of a man doing what he can to find his way, however he can.

K. Bain ’s new album Came a Long Way is a blend of project poetry and ghetto story telling where struggle and street life meet with intelligence and sophistication. Exhibiting old school skills and a remarkable delivery, K is a lyricist and song writer whose talent is
undeniable.

The title cut, “Came a Long Way”, is getting airplay on Hot 97’s DJ Kay Slay’s Drama Hour, Power 105.1’s DJ Self Show and was featured by
Ms. Mimi & DJ Big Kap on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Shade 45.

With bass bangin’ beats by up and coming producers, the album has been hailed as “Future Classic Brooklyn” and has been lighting up Brooklyn
hot spots from Fort Greene to Bed Stuy.

As the title of his hot single, “Came a Long Way” suggests, K’s will to succeed is strong. An accomplished writer, singer, actor and MC,
Bain’s credits include features with 60 Minutes, Fox News, The Village Voice, The Source Magazine, and musical tours with Stephanie Mills, Be
Be Winans and Malik Yoba. K has also had international appearances in Trinidad, Panama, Ghana and Germany and has held his own on stages
alongside artists such as Fabolous, Nas, Usher, and The Roots to name a few.

From the streets to the stage, K has also demonstrated his lyrical prowess in other musical genres including R&B and Spoken Word where he
has held his own and recorded with accomplished slam / spoken word notables such as H’Allah Black and his internationally acclaimed
brother and Grand Slam champion, Bryonn Bain.

Never forgetting his roots, K is also a founder of the grassroots organization Blackout Arts Collective, which is dedicated to fighting
injustice through the creative arts, and a youth organizer for the Brooklyn college community partnership. Bain, with his background in
the streets of Brooklyn, has a B.A. in African Studies/Sociology and a Masters in Urban Policy from Brooklyn College, and can hang with the
best of them when talking about the struggle.
