On Monday, September 19th, Khaled Said was posthumously awarded the Human Rights Award 2011 together with Slim Amamou from Tunisia in Berlin. Zahraa Kassem, representing her slain brother Khaled Said received the award in his name.

The three man crew consist of Psyklone Domoina who’s real name is Donald Mahlangu an emcee and aspiring beat maker (from Kwa-Mhlanga), Fr3aky Cee real name Caspar Khanyile an emcee beat maker and producer (from Mamelodi) and Salvage real name Lucky Mthimunye an emcee and former beat maker (from Kwa-Mhlanga).

THUNDER SOUL follows the extraordinary alumni from Houston’s storied Kashmere High School Stage Band, who return home after 35 years to play a tribute concert for the 92-year-old “Prof,” their beloved band leader who broke the color barrier and transformed the school’s struggling jazz band into a world-class funk powerhouse in the early 1970s.
