ELVIS TURNS 29

Elvis Mboya turned 29 in style as A-list of Namibia, Angola and South Africa celebrities thronged Windhoek Club ObsessionZ VIP lounge to join in the celebrations last Saturday.

On the A-list were Kora Awards nominees Gal Level and their manager Sula Kyababa, Namibia reigning artist of the Year and Channel O award winner, The Dogg, Omalaeti record label boss, John Walenga, Radio Energy personality and prominent musician, Jossy Joss (Master of Ceremonies).

Also on the list were East African Namibia based musician Faizel MC, Radio Energy presenter Uejaa, NBC TV and Radio presenter Cutie, Designer Hem Matsi, Fresh FM presenter, Laimi, musician Toshie, and prominent comedian Webster.

Later the revelers were joined by Channel O presenter Nonhle, Angola's Paul G and Africa's Kwaito supremo Gazza who was launching his new album "Still the King" just stone throw away at Club La Dee Das.

Mboya, a prominent Informanté entertainment editor was also joined by friends from Kenya, Germany, Austria and the US.

DJ LUCY TURNS 23

Omulunga Radio’s DJ Lucy turned 23 last week and threw a little something something for her and friends who came in bunches.

The likes of DJ Ex, Exit n Mushe’s manager “Robbie”, Chichi of 99 FM, Gazza (your king), Fresh FM’s Lucy K (the diva) and our good friend Laimi (who almost broke Lucy’s salon door...I won’t go into details....wsup Laimi!), Chipolopolo and many more were around.
