XXX 2: THE NEXT LEVEL smacks of Lee Tamahori’s influence, he also directed THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and XXX 2 intro credits looks like a modified James Bond intro. His direction takes a thin story and puffs it up to A Grade fluff.

XXX 2: THE NEXT LEVEL is completely driven by action. The supporting cast is made up of excellent actors. It may not be the best action movie made; it may not even be worth a second watch but is definitely entertaining. If you’re bored and want to be entertained, and like Need For Speed Underground, then XXX 2 might be your poison.
