Backyard Traxx Production is to launch the first ever electrifying hip-hop show entitled 'Golden Rhymes Sessions', that will feature unsigned, skilled hip-hop artists at Bassline - Johannesburg on the 27th May 2005, 8pm. Admission is R30 at the door. Read on for details...
Purpose
‘GOLDEN RHYMES SESSIONS' is a concept that will not only revolutionize the entertainment industry, but also to showcase the hidden and/or unidentified talent that has been overshadowed by mainstream organs of the entertainment fraternity. Furthermore, to promote and market unsigned hip-hop artists as well as to entertain loyal supporters of hip-hop. Lastly ‘Golden Rhymes Sessions' will be an annual hip-hop festival that will unveil new talent, with the aim of growing nationally.
The Programme
The programme will run for 10hrs and directed by DJ Lee from YFM. Activities will include Artists line up, Spoken word, DJs, Open Mic Session, stage announcement of sponsorships as well as give-aways.
