He decides to confront his childhood fears by staying in his old home overnight because it’s all in his head or so he thinks...
BOOGEYMAN has got to be one of the scariest movies to come out of late. It takes an interesting idea like the boogeyman and surprisingly gels it with a good plot. It’s been ages since a decent horror movie has been released. The cinematography should definitely receive mention. The story seems straightforward at the beginning a boy sees the boogeyman then he grows up and has to go fight the boogeyman, thankfully there are some major plot twists that are interesting and intelligent. BOOGEYMAN has had a lot of work put into it. There is so much detail in this film, from the hints at the beginning of how it is going to end to the mental twists that build up to the climatic ending. The soundtrack, the cinematography, the direction… BOOGEYMAN is going to be a classic and definitely worth watching more than once.
