Ms. Ross is the most prolific American female singer in UK chart history, singing lead vocals on at least one hit for 33 consecutive years. She has had more albums on the UK chart - including 17 that reached the Top 10 - than any other American female artist and her brilliant career has spanned more than 40 years! Ms. Ross was earlier this year pronounced by MAC Cosmetics as the face of its new ICONS collection and recently was among the 25 'legends' honoured by Oprah Winfrey as her personal heroines. Last year Ms. Ross returned to concerts, with a dozen date tour in the UK and Europe. As well as selling out every date, the reviews she received showed that Ms. Ross remains at the top of her game as one of the world's greatest entertainers and performers: "Magnificent Ross is still queen as she defies the passage of time to weave her magic again. Diana Ross's performance is an act of intimacy.she is truly fabulous. The performance is consummate.from pop's first and greatest goddess. " David Robson. Daily Express; 18 March 2004 "A Supreme set from the queen of Motown. The fired-up 59-year-old polishes off one of the most brilliant back catalogues in pop. While the first half re-establishes Ross as the queen of Motown and disco, the second explodes in an emotional Vesuvius. She's on spellbinding form." Dave Simpson. The Guardian; 16 March 2004 "Lady sings the blues and every other possible gem. She is not just looking and sounding amazing at almost 60, she is on her own, on a round stage in the middle of 11,000 people, totally vulnerable.everybody listens understands. Diana Ross extracts every last drop of brilliance from her extensive repertoire. " Chris Goodman. Sunday Express; 21 March 2004 "She's 60 this month and can still hit the notes. The fans sing everything, a vast chorus of women catching the wistfulness of Theme from Mahogany and the defiance of I Will Survive. It's singalongadiva, and it's fabulous. Diana reigns supreme." Tim de Lisle. The Mail on Sunday "Before J-Lo even learnt her first nursery rhyme Diana Ross was the original diva. Her star quality is such she needs no distractions to entertain this utterly devoted audience. Even with her 60th birthday approaching next week, Diana Ross is still showing all the others how it should be done." Siobhan Grogan. Sunday Mirror.
