For her second time only, Ms. Diana Ross will be visiting South Africa to perform at this dazzling affair. The Gala Banquet on the 9 November will be in support of Unite Against Hunger and The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund. Ms Ross will also be performing with a host of international and local stars at the Coca-Cola Dome that night. Ross has raised millions of dollars for numerous charities to which she has lent her name and has championed many causes especially those concerned with children. Unite Against Hunger is a Crisis Food Relief program spearheaded by food giant Tiger Brands, feeding in excess of 100 000 children every month. One of the feeding schemes it serves is the African Children's Feeding Scheme in Soweto. This week the ACFS celebrated its 60th anniversary. It is hoped that her visit to South Africa will greatly raise the profile of these most worthy charities. 

The Unite of The Stars Gala Banquet will be held at the Coca-Cola Dome November 09. For those seeking the perfect end of year corporate evening- this will be the Rolls Royce of corporate functions. Ms. Ross was earlier this year pronounced by MAC Cosmetics as the face of its new ICONS collection and recently was among the 25 'legends' honoured by Oprah Winfrey as her personal heroines.
