'Drudge' represents the archetypal blue collar underground labourer, such as mineworkers, whose hard work has previously been overlooked and never sufficiently rewarded. 'Dialect' symbolises his long- overdue sermon, and what immediately stands out is the distinguishably crafted and elaborate manner in which it is delivered.

Drudge Dialect Volume 1 is a collaborative effort where all artists and producers involved provided creative input. The production team consists of Dplanet, DJ Nastie Ed, Brand Lelakabe, Mpumito Bomvino and features notable contributions from Ootz the Afronaut, Saturn and DJ Hamma.
