SA Short Film Makes Cannes Film Festival Top 10

The short film, produced by Tristram Atkins (AFDA Graduate), "ONGERIEWE" has officially been selected for the CANNES FILM FESTIVAL! Out of 3500 short film entries worldwide, ONGERIEWE has made it to the TOP TEN!!! Cannes organizers actually called him, personally, to inform him, as well as the director and AFDA film school, about the momentous occasion. Another bit of tantalizing information regarding the film is that it features music by Ancient Men (a Cape Town hip hop group produced by HIPE), and from the premier screening of the film December 2005 in Cape Town, the music adds so much to the atmosphere.The film has also won best film in the recent film school awards, along with 2 other prestigious awards.
