We regret to inform you that the legendary DJ Jam Master Jay (Jason Mizell) of Run DMC, was killed in Jamaica, Queens, tonight at a recording studio. The news anchor reported that he appears to have died from a single shot to the head. The anchor also said that the police investigation to find out what really happened could go well into the morning. A 25 yr. old man was shot in the leg. Jam Master Jay was only 37. He will be sorely missed by the Hip Hop community. We would like to express our condolences to his family, friends, affiliates and fans.
