Santa Monica, California, October 21, 2002 - The Roots take a welcome break on the set, as the hip-hop masters shoot their new video "Break U Off" a track from their upcoming MCA album Phrenology. The video tells a gritty, sensuous tale of intrigue and romance as only the Roots can do. "Break U Off" ships to all video outlets this week, while Phrenology arrives in stores November 26th. This marks the Philly-based group's fifth album and first since Things Fall Apart, which earned the Roots a Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group Grammy for the track "You Got Me" (a collaboration between The Roots and Erykah Badu).
