ImageMiddle Finga AKA Rhamncwa was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He is a Hip Hop artist truly determined to represent the youth of South Africa through his unique ‘Spaza’ Hip Hop sound. He raps, in a combination of English and ‘vernac’ (the indigenous languages of South Africa), about his life and the social issues that surround him eKasi (in the hood). Spaza isn’t just South Africa’s Hip Hop, it’s a way of life - truly representing the lives and struggles of the people of South Africa.

“For me it’s the best way to communicate with my people. It has made me realise that I’m more than just an MC. I’m a story teller, writer and ghetto spokesperson.”

When he moved to Cape Town in 1997 Middle Finga joined Spaza group Def Marchoa. The group was featured on a Kwaito, R&B and Hip-Hop compilation titled ‘Hola Cape Town’ which was released 1998. Middle Finga left the group to join infamous Cape Town Spaza crew, Maniac Squad.
