In this second part he talks to us about his future plans and some other exclusive shit.

And what do you think of the Benzino vs Eminem thing. Who got that battle in the bag?

I give that to Em. Benzino gave it a fair shot but everybody knows that Em is one of the rawest lyricist out and possibly ever. Only a few others are in the elite circle which his flows levitates on. I think Ben should just squash it and go ahead and show Em and Shady Records some love in the next Source. Benzino doesn't wear the hate well that is being displayed.
I mean it's bad enough you give the man and his label unfair reviews but to then come out and drop a battle song as a promotional scheme to gain sells is faulty. You don't think he's tight but you want to battle him for recognition? Sounds contradictive.

Is Bow Wow always going to be about D.O.G./Mac Money/Big Squeeze or will there be new additions to the stable?

I plan on adding others to the table, it's just a slow process right now. The business gets trickier every year and I'm trying to keep up with all the new stages we are constantly going through. There are already a few artists that I work with and that I have been scouting that I would like to add to the roster but that will happen when the time is right. For now it's just us

Do you listen to rap from down south?

Yeah, I'm a big Devin fan. I like U.G.K., Tela, Scarface, Ludacris, Eightball, Juvenile, Cash Money, Lil Flip, Lil Jon & the Eastside Boyz, and many more. You forgot, I spent part of my childhood in Houston, TX so I tend to bump some south music too, ya dig?

I checked your site and noticed that you've had a shit load of shows and continue to have more shows in the pipeline. Do you ever get tired? What do you do when you get home to relax?

I love doing the shows. It gives me a chance to intervene with my fans and give them a visual that they can't get in their decks. But the fast food and long hours on the road do get tiresome. All in all, I wouldn't trade it in for anything else. When I get home I try to make up for lost time with my young D.O.G.'s, enjoy some homecooked food, and just be D.O.G. the person, not the rap star. But those moments are short because it's always back to work.

Tell us your favorite movie and book?

My favorite book would have to be Whoreson by Donald Goines. I am a huge Donald Goines fan. When I was younger, I spent most of my time behind bars reading his books. It was real talk in every one. Stuff I could relate to and visualize. As far as movies, I would have to say Art of War with Wesley snipes. Between the action, the politics, effects, previews of military tactics, and technology, I could watch this movie on ends.

What are you bumping right now in your car?

Our stuff of course, the new Yukmouth, Cool Nutz, Scarface, E-40's Ballatician, the Chronic, Snoop's first joint, 8 mile Soundtrack, and the new W.C.

Have you ever came close to death?

Man too many times to count. I've had guns waived in my face, been shot at on the freeway while driving, shot at while sitting in front of my homies house, etc. If I was to talk about every time I been shot at, this would be a completely seperate interview.

How did you hook up with the Wolftown Committee? Any collabo's in the pipeline?

Basically networking via the internet. We emailed each other several times regarding their magazine, RAGO, and just kind of built a healthy relationship from there. I will be featured on there next project, don't have me lie to you and give you the name of the album. I can't remember it right now. But the funny thing is that Bullet & I are both on the track for this album.

What are the plans for 2003?

Dropping the Senator album on February 4th. Re-releasing WET with the new titles in the late spring. Drop Diabolical Deeds before the end of summer. I'll also be making several appearances on mix CDs from various DJs, continue to do shows and tour, and hopefully earn some more awards. I was suppose to be going back to Australia in February but I haven't heard back from the promoter if the show is still a go or not.

I must say that your new site is dope. How bout putting some mp3's on there because mp3.com is quite slow for us south africans. That site is always busy.

I was under the impression that we had Mp3's. I know we have Windows Media files and Realplay files to download. I will get on that immediately. Thanks for the heads up. In the meantime you can always listen to some of our tracks off our purchasing page through CD Baby. com the links are below:
