Port Elizabethan correspondent Rushay got in touch with the highly skilled Molemen. Exclusive!

What up Molemen whats up with yall cats?

Working hard man on these Lps (Vakill, Molemen, Killing Fields featuring Del the funky homosapien, Casual, Cormega, Screwball, Saigon, & many others. Also just working on getting tours, better distribution & stuff like that.

Who makes up the Molemen crew and how long you together now?

Panik, Pns, Sonia, Memo, Vakill. We have artist dropping Lps under our label such as Infinito, Longshot & Rhyme scheme. We have been around since 1991.

Man I'm listening to Organized Konfusion now "who can you trust when a priest is now the beast" such a true statement man how is it in the United Snakes of America now?

It's wack, it happens here alot. Too much corruption.

Chicago seems to be flourishing with tight hip hop acts (All Natural, Juice, Rubberoom, Ssingle Minded Pros,) I'm not even gonna mention yall names, what's the scene like out there?

It's dope, when I started getting into the hip hop scene in Chicago 91 it was only in one part of town where stuff was going on which was the south side of Chicago. Around 96 it started shifting to the Northside. Hip hop in Chicago is very segregated in our city. We are very divided & like hating on each other. Hopefully that will change in the coming years. On a good note, we are growing more & more and talent is getting better. We have some good labels here also such as Molemen records, All Natural Inc, Galapagos4 & Birthwrite Records.

The other day I hit Panik up and he was like how did you hear about us ! What do you think its out like here in South Africa?

From the the link you sent me, South Africa looks like Paradise. It's March right now & it's cold in Chicago. So I wouldn't mind being in Africa for vacation ha ha.

How much music have you put out?

Lots of music, me, Memo & Pns have produced for lots of cats such as Murs, Mf Doom, Cali Agents, Rasco, Planet Asia, Shabamm Sadeeq, All Natural, Supernatural, Jedi Mind Tricks & many others. Plus our catalog on our label is getting bigger by the minute.

Tell me abit about the new album that you guys are working on right now when can we expect it and who will feature on it?

Our new Lp entitled (Killing Fields) should be out in the late summer of 2003. It will feature Cormega, Saigon, Del the Funky Homosapien, Causual, Mf Doom, Cage, Screwball & many other suprises.

You guys did some production for Capital D aswell the album was titled Writers Block what was it like working with Capital D?

We've worked with Capital D from All natural alot in the past, we have a good chemistry with him that makes it fun to come up with good music. Ever since me & him did "It's OK" it's all good with him.

Whats the future for Molemen how many albums do you wanna release within the next two year time period?

We want to release like 8 - 11 lps in the next 2 years. Infinito, Longshot, 2 Vakill, Instrumental, Rhyme Scheme & many more lps!!!

You ever heard any sounds coming from South Africa?

Naw, I want to check some out. I just heard the real audio you sent me of your friend, sounded good man.

I know yours asses is freezing out there any final words before you bounce?
