Tumi and the Volume turns one at the Bassline, Melville on Thursday the 22nd May 2003. The celebration starts at 21:30. Bring a gift in the form of R40(e.g. two R20 notes, four R10 notes etc.) and leave it at the door. An important political figure is rumored to make an appearance.

This mailing list/column turns two. Celebrations are already taking place. Offers to buy drinks will be audited by independent auditors of sober habits.

Organix turns three, and it's stepson: the Open Mind Session, turns two. Look out for the Joburg celebrations near the end of June.

Capetonians are celebrating the first radio co-hosting between Jozi and the Cape:
UCT Radio in association with Y-FM present JOZI vs. IKAPA
Finally Cape Town & Johannesburg will be given the opportunity to flaunt what they are made of - Face2Face!

You can expect live performances and battling from Godessa, Skwatta Kamp, H2O, 5th Floor, Amu, BVK, Tumi and the Volume,Ready D, Naked, Bad Boy (Y-fm DJ), Azuhl, Chyna, Mo Joe, & UCT Radio DJs: Odwa, Bexta, Ranga, Tino Touch, Mellow Funk . 

The Loxion Kulcha Fashion show will kick off the night @ 9:30pm. There will be live battling open & free for all & give-aways to boot.

All benefits from the event will be donated to charities in support of effective AIDS awareness and the helping people living with HIV and AIDS.
