A while back H-Bomb did a remix for Brasse Vannie Kaap's FNTB single. This is an interview taken from the Untouchable Mobshop. South Africa's first hardcore Hip Hop magazine.

Q.  What have you been up to in the last few months?

A.  Basically out of music.  I had to restart from scratch.  I had to prepare myself with new directions and visions.

Q.  Anybody you working with at the moment?

A.  Right now my main project is Stress a.k.a. Les.  And on the side I'm working with Chiku a.k.a. C.Millz EP, K-Treble's EP, Hamma's Solo and Devious project that they working on together.  For each project I'm doing two songs.  So far I've done nine songs for the Stress project.  I also want to release one song myself which will be pure underground and hardcore.  I was supposed to work on the O'Ryan project, but my equipment was down at the time.

Q.  How do you come up with your unique trademark sound?

A.  Before I do the music, I always visualize the sound.  I always have a vision of what I want to do, but it's not 100% perfect.  There is still room for improvement.

Q.  Any plans for the future?

A.  I don't want to make any future plans now.  My main focus is on Stress, that's my main project.  But I'm gonna go into Gospel music - anything not just Hip Hop.

Q.  Anybody you want to work with?

A.  Right now, no!  This one guy from Fifth Floor, he's got skills and anybody I believe in.

Q.  What made you want to get into Hip Hop?

A.  Actually hmmm.. first it's the breakdancing, I was 10 years old.  But the music side was when I first heard EPMD.  I knew they sounded like what I would like to do.  They were the first group I heard that had the funk and the raw sound.

Q.  Your favourite rappers and producers?

A. Right now almost everybody is disappointing.  The skills is there but when it comes to topics they only promote drugs, alcohol, violence and sex.  Even Redman's all sex and drugs.  If we talk skills I admire Genius, Inspektah Deck, Coco Brovas, K-Solo, Rakim and Buckshot.  My number one producer is Primo!  Producers with a deejay background I like them.  DJ Scratch, DJ Evil Dee and the Beatminerz.  R&B there's Teddy Riley and Jimmy Jam.

Q.  Any plans to move into Kwaito?

A.  Not at all.  The thing with Kwaito is, it's limited to dance music.

Q.  Your favourite Kwaito artists?

A.  Abashante and Skeem.

Q.  Have you got a girlfriend yet?

A.  No, no comment on that.  There's not a single girl up to my standards.  I want a clean girl.

Q.  Any words of wisdom to the folks out there?

A.  For all the Hip Hop artists, don't fall into the trap that the East Coast/West Coast fell into.  No fighting.  Don't promote sex, drugs and violence.  Bring back the positive message.

Q.  Any Shoutouts?

A.  Actually none.  No shoutouts.  Okay let me think about it..I don't want to offend nobody.  Shoutouts to the Untouchable Mobshop and everbody out there who is promoting hip hop.
