Can you start off by telling us who you are and what you represent?

Well, my name is Mr. Rogers aka Coleon and I am a christian. and who I represent Is, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. Born from the seed of Felix Rogers on South Side of Chicago and was born of the Spirit (John 3:3) on Easter day in 1990. And I've been flippin it fa tha LORD ever since.

Many people have this perception that musically, Christian Hip Hop is weak. I believed that too until I listened to what you guys at Syntax were doing. Your album is extremely dope. Am I correct in assuming that you surprise people when you step to the mic?

It's possible, but more people are surprised when they hear my music on CD or radio and stuff like that then when they hear that i am saved and a christian then they be trippin and stuff.

How long have you been emceeing?

I've been emceeing already 6 to 7 years now. It all started in College with a few brotherz in tha LORD (DAvid William, ADRian Hendrick, J-Roc and Me) The group was called SNL. SOilderz N tha LORD. And they all stopped rapping but the LORD kept opening up doors to represent him so I felt this was my mission to complete and not give up.

When you perform live, do you limit yourself only to the Christian community or do you go beyond that?

My hearts desire is to minister more to the Lost. And i was doing that in College and when I lived in NuJersu (New Jersey) where hiphop lives and breathes, but out here in Los Angeles it is more Christian Communities. But my conviction is that I should be witnessing to the LOST and not to the found, therefore, I want to go to Lost so that the word of the LORD can change their lives.

If a promoter had to invite you to perform in Africa would you come?

Man, Absolutely,,,,,YEAH. But of course I would need a ticket to come their LOL, without a shadow of a doubt I would be there to represent the LIVIN' GOD NO Doubt.

Have you ever been in emcee battles?

Answer 6.Man, back in tha day, but presently I've been focusing on SOULS and SOUL winning. Surely, me rippin' another emcee ta shreads isn't going to help someone see that they must be saved and that they are sinners, therefore, I'm focused on tha streets and Spiritual death that's out there. But you know I can get with tha best of them if it came down to it foreal...word.....LOL

When can we expect your next album?

Actually, I am working on the the 2nd album as we speak, It is going to be entitled "Consequences." And majority of the joints are going to be surrounded around the concept of reaping what you sow. You Sow Sexual immorality, you get kids out of wedlock,diseases,broken homes, and an angry God, You sow murder, you get jail, the death penalty,and eternal condemnation, etc, etc. I am strictly dealing with sin, so that we as sinners may know that we are separated from God. Folks need to repent and turn to the Holy and Pure God, WhO is Label as Light. So, thatz the concept of the next album and I got 3 tracks completed and the rest should be complete soon. It's going to be hot ta death man....believe me!!

What are your future plans?

Definitely to keep putting out hot track and albums to keep the my peoples hype and prayerfully hook up with other Christian groups and do some tracks with them and continue to representin'tha LORD

Who do you think is dope on the microphone right now?

I would say REDCLOUD, My Main Man Mr. Tru is hot ta deaf son from Sackcloth FASHION, Cross MOvement, Urban Disciples, Corey Red, IDOL KING DJ cutnoslack..aka slack, CO from IDOL KING,E-Roc, The Ambassador from Crossmovement, and on the secular scene (I only feel their styles and not their lyrics, but their styles and beats are tight and THAT'S IT) maybe MosDef, MOP, Busta Rythmes,Nas and Braveheart even though they aint saying nothing, and Jay-Z, Beatnuts, and Q-Tip. But I am not feelin' nobody else.
