On their return to South Africa, Heal the Hood from northern Sweden will travel to Cape Town and visit schools throughout the Peninsula to have workshops and perform. Heal the Hood aims to have exchanges happen between South Africa and various countries regularly. It aims:-

- to bring youth from around the world together to discuss various issues
- to combat racism, crime, AIDS, violence, etc,
- to learn from each others cultures to break the xenophobia globally
- to visit each others cities to see how people elsewhere really live
- to create jobs in various artistic circles
- to supply a larger distribution globally for unsigned artists
- to encourage the importance of supporting what is from your community and thus encouraging maoney going back to the community and not greedy multi-nationals that PUT NOTHING BACK
- to generate pride in self and ancestry to internalize it
- to discourage war between countries through creating global friendships and "family"
- to expand the limited perspective that TV and other media gives about certain peoples, countries and cultures.

This pilot project in Cape Town will be expanded to the rest of South Africa after Black Noise return from Europe , when they tour South Africa to:

(1) Establish Heal the Hood in Oudsthoorn, Mossel Bay, P.E., Durban, Gauteng, Bloem & Kimberley
(2) Host the National African Hip Hop Indaba to select hip hoppers to come to the finals in Cape Town from the 27th August - 29th August 2004

The Heal the Hood group, South Africa are sending out packages of information about what its intentions are for the next 3 years and how you can become a member of the project. To host such a group at your school and generate an income for that group or the school or matric farewells or
