First SL Magazine, now SA Rock Digest picks up on this hiphop crew's buzz. Is everyone else sleeping? The true representation of DIY (doing it yourself) The Innovators have gone from strength to strength in the last couple of months. The release of the their compilation "RU Project" produced entirely by themselves, sparked a buzz that got them just over 30 000 votes for the "Silvertab Harmabe DIY CD", and a publishing deal with African Dope in Cape Town.

SL Magazine's April issue has an article "Smackdown, Will HipHop Kill Kwaito". It's easy to notice The Innovators are the only unsigned crew included in the article with high profile names. Testament to the buzz this crew is generating thanks to their latest "Sick With The Flow Mixtape". Now their single "I'm A Doctor" originally off The RU Project, and featured on the Harambe/Silvertab CD, is climbing making waves on Rock Digests' SA Top 30 MP3's of the Week Chart. http://www.samp3.com/

Their latest CD to date "Sick With The Flow mixtape" is generating so much interest and doing well to be still featuring on the ABSA RMR Top 30 for weeks on end now http://www.rmr.ru.ac.za

The question; with all these developments around The Innovators as they independently release quality material consistently, is this enough to guarantee that this crew will be the next big thing?
