Kween was born Queen Chinyere Onokala in Enugu State, Nigeria. Her musical career started taking off in Nigeria in 2001 when she released a single called ‘Oluronbi’ which featured Nigerian Fuji star Pasuma Alabi Wonder. She is now working alongside JJC & 419 Squad, Don Jazzy and D’banj on her solo career. In addition to being a singer and songwriter, Kween is also an actress and has previously featured in several Nollywood (Nigerian Hollywood) productions.
