Black Noise will be doing workshops and performing at the Company Gardens, as part of the Cape Festival, from 7th March - 18th March. The new Black Noise album, Got What you Need, is being mixed and final touches added at Mother City Records, by producer Craig Damster...
Black Noise will officially launch all the Heal the Hood Chapters throughout Cape Town, starting on the 18th March at the Shut Up, Just Dance event happening at the Podium Hall at the Civic Centre in Cape Town. Event focuses on all the styles of Hip Hop Dance from Popping tp Locking, to New Skool (like You got served), B-boying group and 2 on 2. Entrance Fee R30 from 17H00 - 24H00. Heal the Hood is an international hip hop and youth network focussing on cultural exchanges, underground arts product distribution and empowering youth with art skills. Heal the Hood has paid for bringing 2 Swedish New School Hip Hop Dancers to tour dance schools and communities throughout Cape Town, starting on the 8th March. Any schools on the Cape Flats wanting them to host workshops can call Emile. Black Noise will then tour Norway and Sweden during April and May 2005. They return to release their new album and tour South Africa to host African Hip Hop Indaba during June, July and August.
