...in the early days of bee-bop (a music genre I draw many parallels with Hip Hop) aritists like Miles Davis were known to pull amateur artists off stage out the back of a venue & literally F*CK THEM UP telling them to
"Come back when they learned to play properly"

I am not advocating for violence or anything but I think the attitude that peers are "watchdogs" of the art is lacking in Hip Hop on a global level & especially in the fledgeling (sp) SA hip hop industry.

'Whackness' must NOT be tolerated..Take it to Harlem's Apollo Theatre & Boo mofos off the stage!
