Is there really such a thing as a "schooled" rapper? An educated rapper? Does the fact that one has walked the aisle of acadamia imply that that person is less street or is that their minds have indeed broadened to beyond the ghettos and to the boardrooms? Some people like the the likes of Puff, who got made game, get playa hated and labeled as sell outs of the game. Does the college grauduate have enuff street cred and swag to pull it off as a true hood rapper *No Will Smith typos* up in the 'Burbs. *Does one's academic backround put them a step ahead in the game or take them back? Is it worth it or is baggage *like a back up singer all stretched out?*
What do y'all think? Are we readyy for a Puff Daddy/Jigga reincarnation with an MBA or a Doctrate? Is it time for that kind of revolution in rap or id it still too fragile *and grown as far as it can go for now*?
Holla!!!
