As far as I'm concerned there is nothing wrong with having homosexual friends. I have a quite a few, and I do not share their tendencies. I cannot believe how people cannot see past their own prejudices and realise that gays, much like black people under apartheid, are just as human as we are. It's the preference in sexual partners that differs. I live in Pretoria and I am of the opinion that per square foot Pretoria has more gay people than any other city I have lived in, and they are all people you could hang out with without thinking of all sorts of funny shit. My concern for those who are against homosexuals boils down to my wanting to know what it is that they fear in gay men? I mean, do these people have some sort of abject fascination with gay men and what it would feel like to be with one? Because really I cannot see the reason why and how another human being -- without any degenerative skin condition -- would be so repulsive to them.

I chill with my homosexual friends - I have  homosexual (3 gay men and 4 gay women) colleagues. Let's get over it already.
