the "real" hip-hop DJ's just have a problem playing new shit. there's 2.1 million thoussand hot new school( or hot new  old school if you will) joints that one can play. and the people who go to these gigs know this music. I remember how people were going mad over new underground joints at that PiUnit gigs last year. Raiko was on some new shit and we were going crazy and those who dont know the shit looked like they were really enjoying themselves too.

There's no excuse for DJ's to not play new shit, really there isnt. there's also no excuse to not play local hip-hop too.
