Right here we go..
One of the best pleasures of being hip hop listeners is when you go through you pop´s record selection. One you´re thinking this old shit is nice the next you´r e paralysed from the neck down. Shaking like a leaf murmimg to yourself "Oh my god" "Oh my god" If this has happened to you chances are you just had your favourite rap song but it´s ten times better and they is no one ryhming bandana with figga. Only those who are down with this now how f***ing mind blowing it and it´s also fun.
Now I will start this and everyone is invited to join. Everytime you hear an original break you come here and the original artist, song and then say who sampled it...
Now I know a lot of samples but I´ll start with recently discovered one....

Okay this one is amazing one day I´m watching the first Ocean 11 (with Frank Sinatra) Guess what I hear. The intro to Fantastic Damage.
In short ElP sampled the movie Ocean 11

Another great movie one is Cage´s cla**ic Agent Orange he samples the movie A Clockwork Orange (dope movie)

For the last wu-tang song I liked "I can´t go to sleep" Rza samples actually uses Isaac Haye´s "Walk on by" I forgot the album name by it´s something like Hotchocolate blah...Incidently Puffy or Moe Dee also samples the ba**line from that song for Biggie´s "Warning" Dope song it is....

They sample the begining of John Coltraines "Favourite Things"

More known songs...
Jay-Z´s Big Pimping is some Indian song
He sampled "Five to one" by the Doors for "Takeover"
My favourite sample has to be Minnie Rippperton´s "Baby, this love I have"
Hi-tek freaked it for Talib´s" Knowledge of self" and a Tribe called Quest for "Check The Rhyme" You might need to donload this...

Na I´m bugging that´s why I said *out of character* besides Joburg heads don´t call other Joburg heads a**wipes we reserve that title soley for Cape Town heads j/k.

Anyway another dope original is the soulful William Bell´s "I forgot to be your lover" Now RZA did the song justice on Killah Priest´s "One Step" then Alchamest (sp) did an average job on Dilated Peoples´ "Worst comes to worst" and gay a** Jaheim had to totally f*** it up with that stupid cover I don´t even know the name...
