Title: SA Release Dates
Post by: TATEguru v.2K9 on November 14, 2006, 11:19:08 AM
Is there any reason why all the major SA releases fall in the last quarter of 2006?
Are they hoping to catch the December festive season Rands?

But don't they run the risk of creating unhealthy competition amoung artists?

I am all for competition but I don't think this year's were scheduled particularly well.

Thoughts?

yeah, it kind of lets the majors manipulate their market effectively.boney m's greatest hits, whoevers christmas album, senyakas return from heaven (preaching the word of white jesus), ke summer e tla ke go tsware ka lerama type ish. if i had my house shit done i would be running for president right now get the picture.also there is an incredible increase in shows and everybody knows if you get booked on new years eve in another city opposite to yours on the map it prolly means you had a hit and your about to get poaid.i just hope these people actually make the music good cos i know im gonna be stuck in a club sometime with a dimebag and a doorag talking up the shorties and spittin the theory of relativity/achor technique i learnt from my man big space.
