Ananda Lewis used to be the host. Most MC's did teen summit, I remember Jigga doing Dead Presidents; GZA with Meth doing shadowboxing(round abt the time when Meth had the Reebok deal); Rae, Ghost, Cappa and Masta Kila with tracks from Cuban Linx.....sheet I had tapes, Teen summit on sabc 3 and on Mmabatho TV. Remember when Mmabatho TV had BET running throughout the night?

Teen Summit was the shit then! Back when BET (the origional network that broadcasted the show) was a not only a great network but was Black owned.
I think I rembered seein the Fugees on there but there was a whole lot of talent on that network. And I also remember Ananda Lewis hosting the show years before she was on MTV.
I wish BET could go back to the good ol' days but unfortunatlly, they're owned by Viacom. They have no choice but to be a Afro-American version of MTV. 106 and Park is just a Black version of MTV's TRL.

Ha ha ha MrC I still gat the VHS too, I remember back in the day, I would sit and watch Studio Mix, and later on I would watch Zero Hour Zone. Man I don't how many videos I've recorded from Zero Hour Zone...That where I first saw the Fugees video - Rumble in the Jungle.....man I used love that programme....

yeah the Bop TV was the truff..I remmeber they used to play Camp-Lo Luchini falling from the Sky..this is it what..then they'd play MC act like they don't know..I knew the sequence when I turn the TV on i'd say okay they playing fugee in about 4songs Ruff Rgged an Raw would be playing...i'd quickly run to the park smoke a J..run back and true as shit...parish would be walking into the Church then its on..
