Title: Beginning production

Hey wa**up cats...

For cats like me who got a good ear for music...and tight ideas...but just a lack to technical know how...

Do any of ya'll cats have any tips on how to start making some beats. things like which program is most user-friendly? what kinda hardware do you need?

Any piece of advice will be much appreciated...

computer, decent speakers, e-jay or fl studio. thats al ul need fa nw. u wanna make beatz nw? oh and lotsa samples if u into that kinda thing.

Computer... lol. Definitely. FL Studio for now, eJay for me is kind'a wack unless you want samples, I haven't used it to it's full potential so I wouldn't know it all. Download samples and kits otherwise (from various sites)

word! u know what u needa do. Come with those ideas to a producer, i.e ME, we sit down, you tell me your idea, and i take you through the process of making it a reality while you watch. Thus, learning rapidly & saving yourself years of learning alone. You pay me a small fee, we both be co-owners (50/50) of the product, we both happy, & the world be a better place. hola!
