a 100-000 hip hop headz might be offended by the nominee list as much as i am.
especially the
"BEST MIXTAPE"
and the
"LYRICIST OF THE YEAR"
BUT ON THE FLIPSIDE.
Finally. Awards to Congragulate the hardwork of Hip Hop artists in the country.
Put more work in to marketing mixtapes and albums and you are going to get on the nominne list.
I just hope they dont become Gauteng Hip Hop Awards just like Hype Mag has Turned into a Gauteng,Western cape,Kzn [3 province mag]

Like er'body keeps saying,these are the 1st ever "real" hip hop awards in S.A. Big up to Hype mag. If you didn't make it on the list of nominees [with a few exceptions(Pioneer Unit and Landmynz with Perigo Minas should have had hounarable mentions)] then don't hate on those that did make it. It only urges us to work harder and grind for next year's awards...
